Affiliate Marketing - Optimizing Wordpress Blogs For Affiliate Marketing
Wordpress blogs are great for affiliate marketing & every affiliate should use it. Why? Not only it’s very easy to install. (As long as you got cpanel in your webhost.)
There’re also so many available modules, also known as plugins, which are developed by other wordpress users. Most of them, (over 90%) are free & if you have problems with it, you can easily find your answer in some blogs or webmaster forums.
Some of these modules can help you do things like.
- Adding amazon graphics & descriptions together with your affiliate links.
- Adding adsense ads within your template.
- Adding affiliate links everytime a particular keyword is used.
- Adding a contact form. (No need html knowledge needed.)
- Making your wordpress blogs friendly for search engine.
- Prevent people from spamming your comments.
- Voting system, where your readers rate the quality of your blog posts.
These are just a few examples & there are more being built as you’re reading this article.
The most important thing you can do for your wordpress blogs is to make all your external links open in a new browser, even the links on your comments.
Why do you do that? So that you can keep your visitors on your blog! Let’s say that a visitor clicks on an affiliate link to product A & he doesn’t buy & he closes that browser, he’ll be back on your blog with more opportunities to read more of your content & click on more of your affiliate links.
In this way, you’re adding more value to your visitors by giving them more opportunities to read more of your content. At the same time, you’re also giving them more opportunities to click on your affiliate links & to buy more from you.
This is truly a win-win situation for both you & your visitors.

I agree with this. I love using wordpress. I haven’t been using it for very long but it has made me proud. I am still playing around with it and it is probably one of the most easiest free blogs that I have used so far.
